Trade Test in the Engineering Trades: The All India Trade Test is being conducted under the aegis of National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) in the following five subjects.

Social Studies

The total marks and the minimum marks required for a pass for the different subjects in the trade test will be as follows:

Trainees who do not keep up to the requisite 80% of Attendance will not Eligible to appear in ALL INDIA TRADE TEST / EXAM under the CONTROL OF N.C.V.T, D.G.E.&T;GOVT. OF INDIA

For a pass, a trainee has to secure 40 % exclusively in theory subject and also 40% on the total marks, i.e. the aggregate of theory subject and sessionals separately.

In practical a trainee should secure 60% marks in aggregate in practical test and sessionals separately.

Five additional chances may be given to a failed within a period of three years to pass the Final Trade Test for the award of National Trade Test Certificate .

Of India For School Drop Out / Working Workers / Non Working Persons & Others Will Be Provided For The Following Courses Without Monthly Fee Except Test/ Examination Fee Which Is Reimbursable To The Successful Candidates As Per Norms.

On completion of the course he shall be able to independently prepare machine components, using skills such as filing, hacksawing, chipping, drilling, chipping, reaming, screw cutting and scrapping, individually handle precision measuring instruments and read machine drawing, also handle various fitter tools and operate different machine such as drilling machines. Operate lathe machines, grinding machines, electric welding transformer, power hacksaw machines and an advanced C.N.C. drilling machine. Acquires allied skills such as welding, sheet metal work, forging, turning and pipefitting. Capable of repairing and over hauling different types of machines.

THESE COURSES MAY BE CONDUCTED ON MORNING/EVENING/ / PART TIME /NIGHT/ HOLIDAYS/SUNDAYS ETC. IN THE PREMISES OF ITI/ FACTORIES AS PER NEED/DEMAND.

Eligibility for Admission

Apart from the above qualification following eligibility criteria are required.

1. The admission form must accompany the original money receipt.
2. A candidate should ordinarily between the age group of 14 and 40 years. However, the upper age limit may be relaxed in exceptionally deserving cases.
3. A candidate should be free from evidence of any contagious or infectious disease .
4. He should possess following physical standards :- Height _ 137cm (Minimum )

Weight- 25.4 kg (Minimum)
Chest - 32" (Unexpanded)
Eye sight - Standard of vision.
Ears - Hearing must be good in both
Ears and there should be no sign of suppurative disease.
Speaking - Speech should be preferably Without impediment.

N.B. :- A certificate to this effect should be submitted by the candidates selected for admission at the time of admission.

You must bring with you the following documents in addition to this letter (as applicable).


1. Original school Leaving Certificate / College Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate.
2. Original or provisional Board Certificate / Council Certificate.
3. Original Board/Council Mark-sheet in case of matric above candidates.
4. Caste certificate in case of S.C. or S.T. Candidates.
5. Four pass port size recent photographs.
6. Residential Certificate (certificate from competent authority).
7. Original Sports / Handicapped / Defence pers / Green Card Certificates.


N.B. :- All the admissions are provisional subject to verification of original certificates issued by the competent authority .
N.B. :- Original Board Certificate / Mark sheets of qualifying examination will be returned to concern trainees after completion of registration process by State Council for Tech. Education & Vocational Training.

A Candidate can opt either for Electrician or Fitter Trade in order of preference. Seats will be awarded on merit and first come basis.

.

The trade of your choice shall be given according to your merit and availability of seats in the particular trade as at the time of counseling.

.

Your admission is further subject to medical fitness.

.

Allotment of seats in the hostel will be decided later.
